Third Thursday Nerd Night is a free monthly gathering where local subject-matter experts—and enthusiastic amateurs—take the stage for 15-minute talks about something they’re passionate about. Think open mic night, but for ideas.

History, science, technology, local lore, design, engineering, books, space, photography, obscure hobbies, professional insights, passion projects—if you love it, there’s a good chance someone else will too.

All presentations must be family friendly and appropriate for a general audience. No formal presentations are required, no advanced degrees are necessary, and no one expects perfection. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to share or learn something new.

Whether you’re signing up to give a 15-minute talk or simply coming to listen, you’ll leave having discovered something interesting and met people who enjoy learning just as much as you do.
