Monte Carlo for a Cause: A Charity Casino Night
Monte Carlo for a Cause: A Charity Casino Night
Saturday, December 19, 2026 | 6–10 PM | $100 per person
An elegant evening of casino entertainment, exceptional food, exciting prizes, and a little friendly competition—all for a good cause.
For one night, The Garden at Edenton Commons becomes a Monte Carlo-inspired casino, complete with professional dealers, classic gaming tables, delicious food, music, and an evening of entertainment.
Whether you’re a seasoned card player, curious beginner, or simply looking for a memorable night out, there’s something for everyone.
And this isn’t just any casino night. It’s the first signature event at Edenton Commons, and one guest will earn the distinction of becoming our very first High Roller.
What Does Your $100 Ticket Include?
- Three hours of casino gaming with professional dealers at blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker tables.
- Gaming chips included with admission so you can join the action from the beginning. No experience necessary—our dealers will gladly teach you how to play.
- Substantial hors d’oeuvres catered by Carrozza, with desserts from Bayside Bakery.
- Alcohol-free beverages, plus music, dancing, and an elegant evening in The Garden.
- The opportunity to support three local nonprofit organizations through a unique casino-style fundraising experience.
Additional gaming chips will be available through charitable donations, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, and raffle tickets will be sold separately.
Not a Gambler? You’re Still Invited!
You don’t have to know a thing about blackjack, roulette, craps, or poker to enjoy Monte Carlo for a Cause.
Come for the food, music, atmosphere, and an evening out with friends. Enjoy substantial hors d’oeuvres from Carrozza, desserts from Bayside Bakery, and the excitement of watching the action unfold.
Feeling adventurous? Our professional dealers will gladly show you how to play. There’s no real-money gambling at the tables, so you can try something new without risking your wallet.
And if you never touch a gaming chip? That’s perfectly fine, too. There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the casino tables.
More Ways to Win
Throughout the evening, we’ll hold raffles featuring prizes that grow in value as the night progresses. Guests can purchase raffle tickets for additional chances to win while supporting our nonprofit partners.
And then there’s the High Roller distinction.
At the conclusion of gaming, we’ll recognize the guest who finishes on top. There will only ever be one first High Roller at Edenton Commons—and that title will be decided on December 19.
Your Chips Can Make a Difference
At the end of the evening, your gaming chips become your vote for one of three local nonprofit partners:
- Edenton-Chowan Educational Foundation
- Edenton Steamers, through the Edenton-Chowan Community Foundation
- Friends of State Historic Sites Edenton
All three organizations benefit from the evening’s fundraising, and the charity receiving the most guest support will receive the $2,000 Jackpot Grant.
It’s friendly competition with a purpose.
